I hold a 1st Class Master's degree in Product Design Engineering from the Glasgow School of Art & Glasgow University and have been working in the field for over 15 years. During my career, I have worked on a variety of User Centred projects such as designing and testing new hardware Products, developing 3D printed Prototypes, and optimising User Centred Designs for Manufacturing.
My areas of expertise include User Centred Product Design, Prototyping, and Design for Manufacture optimisation. I have experience working with a wide range of materials, from injection moulded plastics to sheet metals & wooden veneers, and have worked on projects for various industries including Automotive, Financial, Retail, Scientific and Consumer goods.
Having spent 6 years in a US Corporate Innovation team, I have developed a unique blend of skills and techniques to maximise both the value of Products and the Teams I interact with. I have developed 10 US patents during my career and am always searching for the next innovation for a better future.
